Everyone, anyone…

It’s meant to sound generous – all – everyone – anyone,

excluding no one (not even those who wish

to be excluded apparently), and none ignored, overlooked,

so why does it sound hollow… insincere… generic and meaningless,

this act of violence against our own, those who know us,

and those who don’t – so goes the sincerity of the insincere,

the caring of carelessness, the ignorance of the knowing.
